MAS stickers emerge Champions in the Mercantile “A” division Hockey League 2023

MAS Stickers has been crowned Champions in the Mercantile “A” division Hockey league tournament 2023, which was concluded recently.

The teams that participated in the Mercantile “A” division Hockey league tournament for the year 2023 were MAS, Commercial Bank, Allianz, Hatton National Bank and Sampath Bank. In the first outing of the tournament, they beat Commercial Bank by 3 goals to 2 and in the rest of the matches, they beat Sampath Bank by 2 goals to 1, Hatton National Bank by 2 goals to nil and lost to Allianz by 1 goal to nil.

MAS team is coached by the famous Hockey legend from Matale, H.M.C.H. Bandara, who has an outstanding record in the field of Hockey the team is comprised of Shahid Kuthubdeen ( Capt.), Yohan Thilakarathne
