Mr Ranjith Rodrigo, the former president of the Football Federation, said that nearly Rs.100 lakhs have been spent on the song created for the four-national tournament.

They have failed to produce any possible evidence.
He stated in front of the media that since February 2022, the monthly accounts have not been given to the members and in addition, for the renovation of the football house, nearly 600 lakhs have been spent It has also been revealed that only 400 Lakhs has been spent to build the Football house.
He further stated that in a short period of six months over a billion has been spent and Sri Lankan football can’t afford so much money. Mr Rodrigo had stated that even after informing the authorities (Ministry, Police, and FIFA) about this, there was no proper answer from them and that former president Jaswar Umar should be fully responsible for the current state of Sri Lankan football.
