The tenure of several sports federations has ended with a special gazette
The tenure of 4 sports federations including football and handball has been cancelled by a special gazette issued on Thursday 22nd. It states that the gazette issued by the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Mr Roshan Ranasinghe on 16.09.2022 will be cancelled from 22.09.2022.
Accordingly, it is reported that there is a possibility that the control of those federations will come under an interim committee or go to a committee.

පාපන්දු, හෑන්ඩ් බෝල් ඇතුළු ක්රීඩා සම්මේලන 4ක නිළ කාලය 22 වන බ්රහස්පතින්දා නිකුත් කළ අති විශේෂ ගැසට් පත්රයක් මගින් අහෝසි වි ඇත. ඒ ක්රීඩා හා යෞවන කටයුතු අමාත්ය රොෂාන් රණසිංහ මහතා විසින් 2022.09.16 නිකුත් කළ ගැසට් පත්රය 2022.09.22 දින සිට අවලංගු වන බව එහි දක්වා තිබේ.
ඒ අනුව එම සම්මේලනයන් ගේ පාලනය අතුරු කමිටුවක් යටතට පත්වීම හෝ නිළවරණයකට යාමට ඉඩකඩ ඇති බව වාර්තා වේ.
