Football Federation of Sri Lanka donated 2.0 Million for government COVID-19  Health Care Fund.

Sri Lanka Football Federation donated 2.0 Million to the National Covid-19 health care fund yesterday 14th May 2020 with support of FIFA. The cheque was received by the (Rtd) Major General K.B. Egodawele the Chief of President’s staff, behalf of the HE the President Gotabaya Rajapakse from the Football Federation of Sri Lanka’s President Mr. Anura De Silva, Secretary-General Mr. Jaswar Umar and Special Project Chairman (Rtd) Major General Athula Kodipilli  

Furthermore, the Football Federation of Sri Lanka organized several Covid-19 relief activities for the football community recently by distributing dry ration foods to the football community, and some instances they have supported with the financial assistants to national players, ex-national players, referees and coaches.  

Moreover, the Football Federation of Sri Lanka spends 23 Million to this CSR project for the date and Football Federation seeking further assistant from FIFA and AFC to support affected people in the pandemic.
