Eliza Kahagalla clinches Girls U-12 Title

Eliza Kahagalla of Holy Family Convent Bambalapitiya outplayed Aishath Karin (6/3, 4/2 retired) to be crowned under-12 Girls Champion at the 108th Colombo Tennis Championship worked off SLTA clay courts over the weekend.

In the boys under-12 category, Buvindu Jayawardhana of Maliyadeva College Kurunegala clinched the title after his opponent Damsath Peiris retired at the halfway mark with the score reading 3/0.

බම්බලපිටිය ශුද්ධ වූ පවුලේ කන්‍යාරාමයේ එලිසා කහගල්ල 108 වැනි කොළඹ ටෙනිස් ශූරතාවලියේදී අයිෂාත් කරින් (6/3, 4/2 විශ්‍රාමික) අභිබවා ගොස් 108 වැනි කොළඹ ටෙනිස් ශූරතාවලියේදී 12න් පහළ බාලිකා ශූරිය ලෙස කිරුළු පැළඳීමට සති අන්තයේ SLTA මැටි පිටියේදී සමත් විය.

වයස අවුරුදු 12න් පහළ බාලක අංශයේ ප්‍රතිවාදියා වූ දම්සත් පීරිස් ලකුණු 3/0ක් ලෙසින් අතරමගදී තරඟය අතහැර දැමීමත් සමඟ ශූරතාව දිනාගැනීමට කුරුණෑගල මලියදේව විදුහලේ බුවිඳු ජයවර්ධන සමත්විය.
