England cricket team set a new world record!!!
The England cricket team has set a historic record of 498 runs in ODIs against the Netherlands.
England-Netherlands clashes for a one-day international series in Amsterdam.
In the England innings Jason Roy got out cheaply for 1 run. But the Billy Salt & David Malone duo demolished the Netherland bowlers.
They have put up a partnership of 222 runs for the second wicket. Salt was unbeaten on 122 off 93 balls. Then action player Jose Butler pulled the trigger. He scored a century in 47 balls.
Malone was then dismissed for 125 in the 45th over. Livingston, who came to pitch, started to smash the opponent’s bowling. In the end, England scored 498 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in 50 overs.
This made England the team with the highest score in ODI cricket in 51 years of history. The England team had previously owned this record and England’s previous world record was 481 against Australia in 2018.
Jose Butler scored 162 off 70 balls. This includes 14 sixes and 7 fours. Livingston scored 66 off 22 balls with six sixes and six fours. England hit 26 sixes in this match and this set a record as the highest number of sixes scored by a team in ODIs.
In the chase, the Netherlands lost all their wickets and scored only 266 runs. England won the match by 232 runs.

හඹා යාමේ දී නෙදර්ලන්ත කණ්ඩායම සියලු දෙනා දැවී රැස් කළේ ලකුණු 266ක් පමණයි. එම තරඟයෙන් එංගලන්තය ලකුණු 232ක ජයක් ලැබුවා.
