Bangladesh head coach Chandika Hathurusinghe says that Wanindu Hasaranga playing in the final game is just like any other player for them.

Addressing the media ahead if the third and final T20I Hathurusinghe went onto say;

“Wanindu Hasaranga playing in the Final game is a just another player for us”, said Hathurusinghe when asked about how will Wanindu’s return will impact to the game.

Hathurusinghe also commended his team for their comeback win and expressed cautious optimism for a victory in the upcoming decider.

Hathurusingha highlighted the importance of executing their game plan to give themselves the best chance of winning the series.

Meanwhile, Sri Lanka’s batting coach Thilina Kandamby mentioned that Hasaranga’s return from suspension could provide an advantage in the closely contested series against Bangladesh.

Kandamby believes that Hasaranga’s presence will strengthen both their bowling and batting departments.

Sri Lanka’s Charith Asalanka has been leading the team in the series, contributing significantly with an unbeaten 44 off 21 balls in the opening match. Bangladesh, who have never defeated Sri Lanka in a T20 series, responded with a convincing eight-wicket victory in the previous match.
