Sri Lanka Cricket Provide Financial Assistance To The School Cricket Coaches
Sri Lanka Cricket began a program today to provide financially support to the 225 School cricket coaches who were financially affected due to the Covid-19 outbreak on 2nd June 2020.
The ceremony was held on 2nd June at Ministry sports under the support of the Minister of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Hon. Dullas Alahapperuma.
As the first stage, 132 coaches received a financial grant of Rs. 20,000 as the one payment and the rest of the coaches will receive in due course
This is was funded by Sri Lanka Cricket to the request of the Sri Lanka School Cricket Association.
Furthermore, SLC has donated ground maintaining equipment’s to school cricket development.
