No Sri Lankan in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Executive Committee for the term of 2023-2027
A press release, released by the AFC on December 1st confirming the AFC Executive Committee’s (term 2023-2027) final list of candidates.
The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has confirmed the final list of candidates who will stand for election to the AFC Executive Committee (term 2023-2027) at the 33rd AFC Congress on February 1, 2023, in Manama, Bahrain.
But the noticeable matter on this is no one from Sri Lanka represents the AFC Executive Committee this year despite Mr Anura De Silva former President of FFSL who was in the AFC Executive Committee and after his tenure as the FFSL President, Mr Jaswar Umar took over his position at the AFC Executive Committee as a member.

නමුත් මෙහි කැපී පෙනෙන කාරණය වන්නේ AFC විධායක කමිටුවේ හිටපු FFSL හි හිටපු සභාපති අනුර ද සිල්වා මහතා සහ FFSL සභාපතිවරයා ලෙස කටයුතු කිරීමෙන් පසු ජස්වර් උමාර් මහතා ඔහුගේ ධුර කාලය තිබියදීත් ශ්රී ලංකාවෙන් කිසිවකු AFC විධායක කමිටුව නියෝජනය නොකිරීමයි. සාමාජිකයෙකු ලෙස AFC විධායක කමිටුවේ තනතුර.

பிப்ரவரி 1, 2023 அன்று பஹ்ரைனின் மனமாவில் நடைபெறும் 33வது AFC காங்கிரஸில் AFC நிர்வாகக் குழுவிற்கு (காலம் 2023-2027) தேர்தலில் நிற்கும் வேட்பாளர்களின் இறுதிப் பட்டியலை ஆசிய கால்பந்து கூட்டமைப்பு (AFC) உறுதி செய்துள்ளது.
ஆனால் இதில் குறிப்பிடத்தக்க விடயம் என்னவென்றால், FFSL இன் முன்னாள் தலைவர் திரு அனுர டி சில்வா AFC செயற்குழுவில் இருந்த போதிலும், FFSL தலைவராக இருந்த பின்னர், திரு ஜஸ்வர் உமர் தனது பதவியை ஏற்றுக்கொண்ட போதிலும், இந்த ஆண்டு AFC செயற்குழுவை இலங்கையில் இருந்து எவரும் பிரதிநிதித்துவப்படுத்தவில்லை. AFC நிர்வாகக் குழுவில் உறுப்பினராக பதவி.
