Michael Hussey explains the reason behind Australia’s poor form on the India tour

The former Australian batsman believes that their T20 cricket is responsible for Australia’s disastrous batting collapse in the 2nd Test against India.

Australia lost the 2nd Test between Australia and India in Delhi by 6 wickets and the 4-match series 2-0. The Australian batsmen struggled against the Indian spinners and suffered a massive batting collapse in the first session on Day 3 of the second Test.

Former Australian batsman Michael Hussey has also expressed his views on Australia’s disastrous second innings batting collapse and blamed T20 cricket for it. Michael Hussey said, “Yeah, a lot. I mean we’re seeing more of it in those short-format games. We see breakaways and different types of different shots that we never saw 10-15 years ago.”

“It’s when you pick. It’s a good shot to have in your arsenal, but it’s about playing it at the right time under the right conditions against the right type of bowlers. I don’t think they got it right”, Hussey added.
