LPL 1st Match Kandy Tuskers vs Colombo Kings

Colombo Kings won the toss and asked Kandy Tuskers to bat first, Tuskers scored 219 runs by loosing only three wickets.

Kusal Janith Perera scored 87 runs in 52 balls while Gurbaz banged 53 runs in 22 balls as the openers.

In Chase Dinesh Chandimal gave a terrific start to the innings by scoring 80 runs in 46 balls, middle overs went in favour of Tuskers but Isuru Udana scored 32 of 12 in the last overs made the match tie and took to the super over.

Super over – King’s scored 16 runs for one wicket by batting first and in the chase Tuskers scored only 10 runs.

Colombo Kings won the super over and won the match.
