CR & FC Women’s Hockey team emerge Champs in CHA league tourney

CR & FC Women’s Hockey team emerged as the  Champions in the Women’s catergory of the Colombo Hockey league tournament 2023/2024, organised and conducted by the Colombo Hockey Association, under the guidance and supervision of the Sri-Lanka Hockey Federation, which was concluded recently. 

Three teams participating at the Colombo league Women’s Hockey tournament 2023/2024, CR & FC Women’s Hockey team competing along with Young Ladies Hockey Club and Colombo Colts CC Women’s Hockey team won 1 game and lost 1 game headed the table with 3 points by gaining a bonus point on the goal average above Young Ladies Hockey Club, who also had same points with a win and losing 1 game. CR & FC Women’s Hockey team by obtaining the bonus point on the goal average was declared as the Champions of the Women’s Colombo Hockey 2023/2024.

CR & FC Women’s Hockey team is coached by an ex Peterite Hockey star Mario Joseph, his experience and talents guided the CR & FC Women’s Hockey team to achieve this remarkable victory. 

CR & FC Women’s Hockey team comprises of Vajira, Movinya, Maleesha, Thissereni, Natalie, Linara, Shereen ( Captain ), Shiro, Niro, Kaushalya. F ( Vice Captain ), Chamodhi, Sewandi, Chamashaa, Hasi, Bhagya, Ruwaiza ( Manager ), Muditha ( Assistant Manager ).
