Dubai, February 24, 2025 – In yet another thrilling chapter of the India-Pakistan rivalry, India secured a convincing six-wicket victory over Pakistan in their ICC Champions Trophy 2025 encounter. The win was anchored by Virat Kohli’s unbeaten century, as India chased down Pakistan’s total of 241 with ease at the Dubai International Stadium.

Match Summary

Opting to bat first, Pakistan posted 241/10 in 49.4 overs, with Saud Shakeel (62 off 76) and Mohammad Rizwan (46 off 77) making notable contributions. However, India’s disciplined bowling attack, led by Kuldeep Yadav (3/40) and Hardik Pandya (2/31), restricted Pakistan from setting a bigger target.

In response, India showcased their batting depth, reaching 244/4 in 42.3 overs. Virat Kohli led the charge with a magnificent 100 off 111 balls*, guiding India to victory. Shreyas Iyer (56 off 67) and Shubman Gill (46 off 55) provided crucial support. Pakistan’s bowlers, including Shaheen Shah Afridi (2/74) and Abrar Ahmed (1/28), struggled to contain India’s top order.

Kohli’s Brilliance & India’s Dominance

With this match-winning knock, Kohli notched his 51st ODI century, further solidifying his legacy in India-Pakistan clashes. His innings was a masterclass in chasing under pressure, once again proving his status as the ultimate match-winner.
