Kingswood College, Kandy stickers emerged Champions in the under 20, Central Province Hockey Championship tournament 2023, beating St. Thomas College, Matale on penalties ( 4/2 ), in a nail-biting finish at the final, where the match ended in a thrilling draw at full time of play, organized by the Central Province Educational Zonal, played at Edward Park, Matale recently.
It was once again, Head Coach A.B. Godigamuwa and his Assistant Coach, C.I. Sumanarathna, who guided them to win this under 20, Central Province Championship 2023, where these lads also pocketed the Matale, Thomians 7-a-side all Island Championship trophy this year. MICs, C. Dissanayake and Pradeep Kumara along with the Principal, have given their fullest support and cooperation to these young lads by providing with necessary needs to boost the standard of Hockey at Kingswood College.
