Sri Lanka Cricket has appointed Charith Asalanka as the captain for the ODI series against India, which is scheduled to commence on August 2.
Earlier Charith was also appointed the skipper of the T20I side replacing Wanindu Hasaranga.
The sri Lanka 16-member ODI squad also features Kusal Mendis and the emerging talent Nishan Madushka.
The three-match ODI series will take place in Colombo, starting on August 2nd and concluding on August 7th at the R Premadasa Stadium. This series comes after the T20I matches between the two countries.
