Hi, I am Chaminda Perera, coaching for a Women’s first-class cricket club in Melbourne Australia.

I have started my coaching career under the guidance of former Sri Lankan National player and National Women’s team Head Coach Bernard Perera and Coach Harold Ranasinghe.

I served as a coach in the Kandy School Cricket Academy and I would be able to produce Sri Lankan national players like Niroshan Dickwella, Sadun Weerakkody, Sripali Weerakkody, Dilhara Manodara, Suwini de Alwis and Praba Udawatte.

I have completed Level 2 qualified Cricket Coach – Cricket Australia and also I am a qualified fitness instructor in Australia. Moreover, I have served as an Assistant Coach at the Nondescript Cricket Club (NCC).

Currently, I am Senior Assistant Coach – specialized in Batting & Spin Bowling at Plenty Valley Premier Women’s Cricket Club where the Australian national women’s players and WBBL players are representing.

In the last year, I have been coaching for the Melbourne Stars Multicultural team and successfully ended up the tournament.

In soon I am expecting to engage as the Coach with one of the premier schools in Melbourne.
